Our structural design and analysis services address the full lifecycle of a project, from gravity and lateral system selection and load-path development to member and connection design, foundation design, and construction-phase support. Signed and sealed structural documents are prepared under the responsible charge of a licensed Florida Professional Engineer and coordinated with applicable architectural and MEP disciplines to support an efficient permitting and construction process.
For projects in South Florida, wind-resistant design is a fundamental part of the structural engineering process. We evaluate applicable wind loads and pressures in accordance with the Florida Building Code and ASCE 7, considering project-specific conditions such as risk category, wind speed, exposure, building geometry, and component requirements. For projects within the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ), applicable Miami-Dade and Broward requirements are incorporated into the design. Particular attention is given to uplift resistance, connections, anchorage, and continuous load paths from the roof and building envelope through the structural system and into the foundation.
